COUNTRY ORDERS
RESET PLANS FOR MAP #56

The Objective for Axis forces upon the initiation of Campaign #56 will be to establish a defensible North-South frontline that puts Namur and a strong defensible position along the Muse River.

ORDERS NORTHERN AREA FOR 33ID , 4TH PANZER , KM and LW

If the Allies place 2 ground divisions in Antwerp we must react quickly and move our forces North to counter.

We need to hold what we can in this area but advancing against Antwerp and Brux in this area will not be possible till we have established a defensible frontline in the South and Center.

Roosendal and Willemstad are key cities to defend if we are to remain in the Zeelands through tier0.

It is very important that 33ID and 4Panzer maintain a frontline where they can support each other.
If 33ID moves too far North or West the area south of Gilze will become vulnerable if 4 Panzer is forced to retreat. This is Mainly a HOLD area for the beginning of the map.

KM is to Deploy their units from Den Hagg and Hellevostuis to defend the the Northern flank and the Zeelands. Ensure that KM units have valid fallbacks.

Luftwaffe forces need to be efficient and dedicated in barcaping Antwerp and possibly Vliss for our KM and Heer forces to hold in this area.

ORDERS CENTER AREA FOR 16ID, 17ID , 3RD PANZER and LW

P1 attack apon reset will be the capture of Namur. With the intention of Bringing 3rd PZ into the Namur area and creating a weak area in the Allied front in this area that will serve as a Northern Anchor for an Advance on the Muse river. Use multiple AO's in this area to pin Allied brigade movement to maximize our chance of success on the Namur attack.

LW units have been concentrated in the Aachen-Verviers area to support this advance. Air superiority in this area should be LW P1.

ORDERS SOUTH AREA 2ND PANZER, 1ST PANZER , 27ID , LW and KM

Longwy will be p2 In order to astablish a North-South Axis frontline.
Ideally within 48 to 72 hours 2Panzer will be in a position to threaten Montfaucon allowing 1st Panzer to move West and put pressure on the Southern end of the Muse river.

T0 is about establishing a Strong frontline that gives us options once tier1 comes.
The Key to this is holding Bertrix and Ciney in the south and Center, Not allowing the allies to pressure Gilze from the south and Keeping the Zeelands in Play.

We have lain the groundwork for moumentous Axis wins in the past by adherence to fundamental defense and TEAMWORK in t0. Lets do it again!

AREAS TO EXPECT ALLIED ATTACKS (ty desouzaj)
I like the flag positioning to start with. Special attention needs to be paid to Aarschot, Tienen and Jodoigne. That's normally the area the allies will hit before heading to the riverline at US pt.

If we can hold -Aarschot, Tienen, Jodo-Andenne on the first day, we're good to go.
The South they normally concede drawing their lines at Verdun. In the N, we need to watch for Oostmale. Let's not get drawn into moving units to Roosendal area as they would love to get Oostmalle in the beginning as well.

I dont know their flag placements but I'd expect them to push on Aarschot, Tienen, Jodo-Andenne area. Although, Klemzig loves the Zees and I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 divs N. But if Jamm40 and his crew are at the map, the only part of the map that will matter is from Aarschot to Bertrix (N and S of those are irrelevant and only used to draw the enemy into stretching. Allies need Bertrix to advance in the S).

Let's have fun today!

Cheers

******CINC ORDERS******
We should hit harder in center. Namur, Dinant/Anhee, Givet; depending on Allied force placements.
Yes, 2 AO's in middle IF we have advantage.

I DO want to see a time limit on the center attack. No 5 hour efforts on 1 target that depletes a full division.

Longwy is a low priority to the center attack, first to see if allies will voluntarily retreat (not likely), 2ed for the allied player base to focused in center.

METZ/SOFTCAP's:
This will be on hold at the very beginning, using 2AO in center and 1AO in Longwy.
IF we have spare AO (either not used in center, or 4th AO), that will be assigned to Softcap exclusively.
Prime Softcap targets in order first: Fontoy, Jarny, Thionville, Sreik-les-bains. This is to lock down Metz and Etain from allied use.

Summary:
Within goals have some flexibility of attack.
P1 (possible P2) is hard and massive attack in middle. Full effort by all requested.

P3 (P2?) is Longwy, grind the allies instead of massive attack. Be ready for rapid shift to finish Longwy if allies not looking.

P3/P4 Softcaps. South was always big priority before, this time its no priority. SC when possible, but the focus is center.[/
