In conjunction with today's server maintenance we are releasing a small patch for the client. This patch includes a small change to the NetCode2 Beta functionality as well as the server changes. The client patch (netcode2 beta) is currently only available for the PC.
Today's host changes are largely for server stability and should fix a recent recurring map crash that was causing the arena to lock and exit players at the map. In addition we have enabled some base ToE functionality in that newly captured towns may have their ownership set by the first brigade from the owners side that moves into it.
This allows for a British brigade to move into a newly captured French town and make that town British. This functionality is only available once per town. Once a town has been occupied by a brigade or division it may not again change ownership in this manner. Towns that may have their ownership changed will be marked with an asterisk when listed with the /own command.
