We have created a special pair of client executables to tame the bad FPS stutters some players are experiencing since the v1.24 patch went live.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL STUTTERS CANNOT BE ELIMINATED ENTIRELY AS THE OBJECT LOADING DEMANDS OF THIS COMPLEX GAMEWORLD ARE HUGE, BUT THESE EXECUTABLES SHOULD REDUCE THEM ENORMOUSLY FOR MOST PEOPLE
Unlike normal proceedure, we can't create a patch this time that will automatically download these for you, as we have no v1.24 branch and are already into v1.25 development features here in production. However, the process to update your game folder with these clients is very simple.
Go to our downloads page (links below) and download the two executable client files linked here. Put them in your Battleground Europe folder located (default location) in C:\Program Files\CRS\Battleground Europe.
If you took part in the open beta be careful not to put them in your TEST folder, these are of course LIVE GAME clients not beta clients. If you didn't take part in the open beta you only have one Battleground Europe folder. so don't worry ... those who took part in the beta have two folders, one of them named Battleground Europe TEST.
You need both of these clients to have the ability to switch in your settings app (Battleground Europe settings) from the sse2 client to the non sse2 client. Some CPU's handle the game with better perfomance using sse2, some do not. The Settings app (go to network tab) allows you to choose between each client, you can try both see what works best for you.

NOTE
If you wish to be really cautious, and this never hurts ... you can keep your old clients by renaming them (add the letters OLD in front of "WW2") in case you don't like these new ones (I bet you WILL like the new ones better) ... DO NOT RENAME THE SMALL 52kb FILE CALLED ww2.exe, it is the script executable that lets you choose in settings which client (sse2 or non sse2) you want to launch the game with.
You don't need to do this unless you want to be super nerdy cautious, but learning how won't hurt you in the futur
