Axis Forces Victorious!
(OKA) Campaign Blitzkrieg 26 started on december 22nd 1246 CT when the french decided to shoot back at a forward panzerdivision advancing southwest of Luxembourg. When the Allied High Command dediced to surrender to Generalfeldmarschall ZZ almost one month later, Wehrmacht had deployed 946,463 troops, killed 528,906 enemy units and captured 19,363 choke points. France deployed 414,061 troops and captured 9,344 choke points while United Kingdom deployed 511,068 troops and captured 8,435 choke points.

Das Heer deployed 855 147 units who spent a total of 8 187 686 minutes on the battlefield and Luftwaffe sent off 86 950 aircrafts who spent a total of 1 268 470 minutes on mission and Kriegsmarine deployed 4 366 boats and ships who spent 119 345 minutes on the rivers and the sea.

Das Heer sent off 247 226 riflemen to war and 27% returned to base, in total they spent 1 516 282 minutes on the battlefield and achived a 1.22 k/d on the british- and 1.14 k/d on the french riflemen. For close combat the Infanterie Divisions deployed 122 950 sub-machine gunnerswho spent a total of 745 238 minutes on the battlefield and 28 % made it back to base. When enemy tanks were in the area sappers were deployed. A total of 108 090 sappers were used and 32% made it back safe and sound with a total of 887 640 minutes on mission. Besides sapping forward bases, the sapper unit flamed 246 408 enemy tanks at a cost of seven sappers per tank. Infanterie Divisions need light equiptment to be carried by infantry to provide fire support, a total of 47 207 light-machine gunners were deployed along the front and behind enemy lines spending a total of 433 141 minutes on the battlefield and 34 % made it back to base. This campaign Das Heer introduced the sniper to the battlefield. Trained at Brandenburg the special unit saw action in 41 817 missions and 49% returned to base spending a total of 637 862 minutes on the battlefield. Brandenburgers took out 24 704 enemy targets at the cost of 17 207 men. Reports from the battlefield tells us that snipers took out 2 british Matildas, 6 M10:s, 434 trucks, 3 C47, 7 Ju52, a total of 247 enemy aircrafts, 12 british fairmiles and 2 french destroyers to name a few!
Feared by the enemy, loved by their own, the grenadiers showed up at 28 229 missions providing shrapnels to the enemy and 27% made it back to load up new riflegrenades spending a total of 171 972 minutes on the battlefield and countless hours at the army bases along the front to convince the local Stabsfeldwebel that they needed more nades.
The somewhat silent, but deadly ATR made 14 918 missionsand spent 71 833 minutes on the battlefield, sneaking up on enemy tanks or breaking camps from conceled positions.
The legendary Fallschirmjägers or the Paratrooper answered the called at 7 178 times and less then a third made it back after the jump spending a total of 153 003 minutes on the battlefield and the double in local field hospital for strained ancles. Paratroopers have increased their performance on the battlefield and are now 33 % more deadlier then past campaigns!
Das Heer deployed a total of 618 428 infantry units who spent a staggering 4 624 491 minutes on the battlefield! In total they killed 329 122 enemy units, at the price of 387 923 men.

To support infantry, 32 812 Flak 28:s were deployedand 71% returned in almost mint condition for re-armenment spending a total of 330 158 on watch for enemy aircrafts and shooting down 8762 of them.
In support to light version of AAA, the Flak 30 were present with 13 948 units and 72% returned to base spending 92 382 minutes watching the skies. Flak 36, the working horse of the anti-tank capability together with the sappers spent a total of 371 082 minutes on the battlefield and deployed as many as 28 602 artillery pieces killing 7463 enemy tanks. The lighter version Pak 36, often towed by the opel, were present with 17 286 pieces and crews and half of them returned to base spending 130 507 minutes on the battlefield, taking outt 146 heavy tanks and 2265 infantry to name a few opponents on the battlefield. In the final stage of the war, 4 416 Pak 38 was introduced to the Infanterie Divisions spending 46 986 minutes on the battlefield and as many as 65 % returned to base. In total there was 97 147 field artillery pieces with crew present on the battlefield with a total of 972 141 minutes on the battlefield! Anti-Tank guns took out 19 261 enemy units and 16 935 pieces lost or damaged beyond repair. The Anti-Air artillery scored 15 969 kills and lost 13 318 pieces.

Using scout-vechiles to search the terrain before the main body of a Panzerdivision, theSdKfz 232 did their job with 15 557 vehicles spending 184 737 minutes on the battlefield almost half made it back to base. The 232 took out 20 663 enemy targets at a cost of 8158 vehicles, with a 13.65 k/d on infantry and although not designed for the task, nevertheless killed 34 heavy tanks with crew. 13 015 Pz IVg made it to the front, 56% returned after mission spending 340 652 minutes on the battlefield. The Pz 38t introduced early with 12 938 vechiles spent 196 839 minutes as a support panzer and 45% made it back from the front. 12 390 Pz IIIH were sent to the front after the first RDP, 53% returned after mission, spending 270 798 minutes on the battlefield. The Pz IIIf with a smaller main gun made 8 260 sorties, 56% returned to base after 172 937 minutes of battle. The heavy Pz IV D was present on the battlefield with 7 694 vehicles, and altough armed with a thin panzer as many as 51% made it back to base after 128 971 of frontline mayhem. The king of infantry support, the Pz IIc made 6 832 sorties and 47% returned after action spending a total of 90 157 minutes on the battlefield. The Pz IIc did well on the battlefield dispite thin armour and a small gun. The Pz IIc had an overall 1.88 k/d improving from 1.78 k/d (all campaigns). Behind the Pz 38t and Pz IIc were the heavy cannon, the StuG IIIB not armed with an machine-gun had to be used by experienced panzersoldats, 5 024 missions, 59% returned in mint condition after 67 727 minutes on the battlefield. The StuG IIIB had a 0.65 k/d against tanks but the StuG, IIIG with 9 875 sorties, 63% rtb, 215 567 minutes on the battlefield, scored 5491 enemy tank kills and a k/d of 2.43 against enemy tanks. The StuG IIIG took out 1158 Shermans and 673 M10 to name a few opponents. The long awaited Tiger was introduced with 5 per armybase and a total of 12 027 PziVE "Tiger" were sent off to wage war and 62% returned to base after a total of 430 028 minutes on the battlefield. In total the Panzerdivisions fielded a total of 103 735 panzers in the field, spending a total of 2 100 791 minutes on the battlefield! Panzers scored 122 786 kills on the enemy and lost 47 176.

The Infanterie Divisions had tasks for everyone. A special task was the drivers. The opel and half-track, vital to the war effort by bringing troops to the frontline. There was 26 026 Opels on the battlefield and 36% made it back from the front after spending 330 157 minutes on the battlefield! Towing up the heavier artillery the SdKfz 7 or "HT" made 9 160 sorties, as many as 61% returned to base evading primarly enemy fighters and spent a total of 134 014 minutes on the battlefield. As the last piece of equiptment introduced to the battlefield the SdKfz 251c armed with a machine-gun killed 216 enemy units during 1 767 missions and 45% made it back after 25 602 minutes on the battlefield. A total of 37 000 vehicles were sent off to drive troops to the front spending a total of 490 263 minutes on the battlefield!

Luftwaffe sent a total of 27 183 bombers to war spending a total of 394 725 minutes on the battlefield! To support the bombers and to engage enemies Airforces, Luftwaffes Jagdgeschwaders sent a total of 59 767 fighters who spent 873 745 minutes on the battlefield! Bombers scored 14 410 enemy kills and 9 389 got shot down. 21 599 screaming Stukas spent 279 746 minutes on the battlefield and 47 % made it back. To bomb the enemies factories and heavier tanks, the Heinkel flew 2 161 missions and 56% made it back to the airbase after 58 817 minutes on the battlefield. Introduced in the middle of the campaign, the Bf110C4/B made 1 200 sorties, 45% returned to base after 18 749 minutes on the battlefield. The Bf110C4/B fighter-bomber took out 611 enemy units. The Sturzkampfgeschwaders also provided troops transports with their 2 223 Ju52:s who did 37 413 minutes of service and 43 % made it back to base.

The Bf109E4 flew 26 226 sorties, 37% made it back after 349 521 minutes on the battlefield. Introduced with the Pz IIIH the Bf109F4 regained the initiative in the air giving the Jagdgeschwaders the edge against the enemy in airial battle and 20 867 were sent off to war and 46% returned after 389 063 minutes on the battlefield. The fresh fliegers choise, the Bf110c, altough somewhat hard to take-off with saw 12 674 sorties and less then a third made it back after 135 161 minutes in service. the Bf110c fighter shot down 11 357 enemy aircrafts during the war, and in total fighters killed 23 213 enemy units and 22 800 were lost.

The riverine Fairmile made 3 408 sorties, 64% returned to docks after mission and spent a total of 62 162 minutes in the service of Zerstörerflotillen. Fairmiles downed 368 enemy aircrafts and took out 93 tanks, 4 of them M10:s and shut down 23 mobile spawns, killing 343 infantry. The much heavier and much feared Type 1934 Destroyer class made 765 missions and 52% returned to base after a total of 48 693 minutes of shelling british factories and taking on the enemy ships in open battle. Freighters made 193 sorties, mostly in the last stage of the war when the Zeelands were open for business with the recapture of Bergen Op Zoom and Zeeland harbours. 59% returned to base after 8 490 minutes in service. In total Kriegsmarine deployed 4 366 ships who spent 119 345 on the sea or in the rivers. Fairmiles killed 920 enemy units and 1148 friendly was sunk. Destroyers killed 547 enemy units and 92 friendly was sunk. Against the Royal Navy, Kriegsmarines destroyers killed 35 and lost 24 and against the French Navy 65 kills and 54 lost at sea.
