S! All,
4th Pzd KG2 has been chosen to lead a Division/Korps wide attack by OKW/CRS for Thursday evening. The operation will formally begin at 9:00 PM Eastern Time and progress until 11:00 PM Eastern Time. Approximately 10-15 CRS personnel will be observing and taking part in this operation to monitor how the KG/Division deploys and communicates on the field.
A preliminary Opord will be developed and posted well before the launch of the operation so that all affiliated squads and players have an idea of the area to be attacked. Because of the fluidity of the battlefield it is very likely that the Opord will list a series of targets with the final one or two being chosen a few hours prior to launch. Depending on the number of participants, this attack could proceed well beyond the objectives established in the Opord. This is expected and may require decisions on additional targets to be discussed and confirmed real time.
One change in normal standard operating procedure will be to have all member/players contain profanity and vulgarity on the OKW TS channels. While normally we are flexible regarding what is said on any one evening on TS, when CRS is present, this will not be a good time to attempt to educate the game owners of the less socially acceptable nuances of the English language. Shocked Please communicate this expectation to all squad forums. Officers and squad leaders are expected to control this during the operation.
Korps\Division officers will be present but will be acting in a support role only. This will be a KG operation, led by KG OICs. I would like to encourage as many officers/squad members join 4th Pzd during the time frame established to show CRS what we are all about and, even better, kick some major enemy butt.
