Jo....bin schon auf den neuen Termin gespannt.

Aus meiner sicht (Gruppe) sah das gut aus und hat mir gefallen......das der server nicht so wollte ist halt pech.

Ich finde dafür das es so viele probs mit dem spawnen, auto despawn, 64er und was sonst noch so vorgefallen war gab haben die leute sich (aus meiner sicht...ka wie es anderswo aussah) sehr gut verhalten und man konnte wirklich von einer Gruppe sprechen.

Freue mich schon auf den neuen Termin....(vielleicht diesmal doch als Grenadier :lol: )

Aber ich muss sagen ich war schon angenehm überrascht, dass alle Gruppen so gut weg kamen (nachdems mal lief) und schnell in Stellung gingen. :brav: :reib: :brav:

The event is still planned to go forward. Shilling and I are both excited about it too. We are waiting for a patch on the game before we schedule it. We have found a new area on the map, different objectives, and other things to make it even better than we hoped it would be. It is going to be a mucho fun thing to take part in and we are both looking forward to it. I am expecting that it will be within the next couple of months, but no firm date on it yet due to the stuff being done to prepare for it.

SPECIAL EVENTS TEAM UPDATE

We are finalizing the details of the GRUDGE MATCH 2. Expect word on this event in the coming week to begin setup and registration for the event. We had a great turn out last time and we hope to see many of the same faces return. This will be a free event, infantry Vs. infantry only, so polish up those rifles and spit shine those boots! There is a neat little surprise and twist. Stay tuned!

Officer registration for the Grudge Match - Show down in Northern France 2 is now open. Those interested in joining this event as an officer may join now by visiting the Event Page.

The registration for officers has started and will run for one week. Next Saturday we will open the registration to those who wish to join the event as a combatant. All Officers are required to sign in on the forums for the event once registered. Those not interested in joining as an officer can start to communicate with their friends and squad mates on which unit they will join when it opens.

Since the last attempt we have spent much time planning this event. We have worked with the Dev Team, Terrain Guys, Network Guys, and the Special Events team to insure that every step has been taken to insure the success of this event.

Some of the changes that you will notice are the moving of the event location, the number of towns people spawn into, the mission times spread out, and the objectives changed to search and destroy. The Field Command locations can be located within certain areas. Only a few rats, the SET, and the Command know the final locations of these HQs. This will help spread out the forces across the battle map while increasing the level of fun for all and insuring that the 64 limit does not play a role in this event as it would if we had one target known to all. They will be able to be identified by the vehicles allowed in this event. The vehicle drivers are limited by some rules to insure both sides are equal to test the skill of the leaders and the team.

This event is going to be one that you will not want to miss. Mark your calendars today and prepare for battle.
